SIGNED ALEXANDER ROUX QUEEN
SIZE ROSEWOOD BED.
Features a nice medallion carved crest on the headboard. The
bed frame shows a sloping curved form with applied carvings to
the side posts. The side-rails have long scroll carved corbels
and the footboard is curved at the corners. Signed with an
original stencil on the headboard "A. Roux - New York". In
very good finish and condition. 62"W x 65"H x 84"D.

CARVED MARBLE SCULPTURE OF
A SLEEPING BABY ON AN INCISED PEDESTAL.
Features a baby sleeping on a bed with a tulip in its hand.
The mattress is very well detailed with ripples and a single
banded stitch around the perimeter. Its head rests on a pillow
showing carved tapestry and large tassels on the four corners.
The robe, which is resting off the shoulders shows every fold
and wrinkle and has carved buttons on the shoulder straps.
Fine detail in the face and hair as well as the fingers and
toes. Stands on a 3 piece carved green marble pedestal with
gilt incised stars bordering the top platform. This is a very
elegant piece.
Condition: There is a small chip to bottom front of the robe,
down by the feet. Pedestal shows chipping and repairs. 28"W x
51"H x 15"D.

WALNUT INSET MARBLE TOP
SCROLLED LEAF INLAID TABLE.
Shows a red marble top, inset into the beveled frame on top of
the table. The apron below shows gilt incising around ebonized
panels with some swirling leaf inlay. The apron is mounted
with carvings in the center of each side and turned drop
finials on the corners. The base and legs are highly
embellished with gilt incising, inlay and ebonized panels,
structured with long turned columns, upright and drop finials
throughout. The long turned center stretcher tapers out to a
center block, which shows a turned drop finial and is topped
with a large carved urn. In very good, clean and original
finish and condition. 41.5"W x 29"H x 24"D.

Laminated Rosewood "Hawkins Extra" Parlor Set.
Features 2 armchairs, 2 side chairs, a sofa, and a settee.
Each has pierced carved crests with a floral cluster in the
center, which is surrounded by filigree including grape leaves
and clusters. The pieces are also delicately carved in the
arms and the front seat rails. Scattered minor chips and light
surface cracks. Light repair to one armchair, one side chair
shows minor veneer loss on the back.

R.J. HORNER 3 DOOR MAHOGANY
ATLAS BOOKCASE.
This is regarded as the best of the Horner bookcases. Features
an elaborately carved top with filigree, urns, and the
northwind carved in the center. Either side is carved with a
large robed figural atlas with ribbons and filigree flowing
down to a scrolled base. The center door is curved at the
corners. At the base the 3 front feet are carved with faces.
Each section is complete with adjustable shelves. This piece
is in very good clean original finish and condition. 87"W x
68"H x 20"D.

R. J. HORNER MAHOGANY
WINGED GRIFFIN FIGURAL CARVED PARTNERS DESK.
Shows a single drawer on the right side, front and back, along
the leaf carved apron. Each of the drawers has a carved pull
and a faux drawer to the left. The top is supported by 4 full
standing figural winged griffins at the corners, all showing
great detail. The griffins stand on a concave formed lower
platform with detailed carved moldings over 4 square platform
feet. This piece has a nice old finish, in great condition,
showing no losses to the carvings. The top shows 3 small oval
spots with two - 3" and one 2" veneer patches near one corner
on the left. 52"W x 29"H x 36"D.

SCENIC STAINED AND LEADED
GLASS WINDOW.
The sides show a vertical border including yellow, red and
orange quadrangular pieces around purple and blue triangles,
centered with ruby pieces connecting jeweled yellow circles.
The very center of the window shows a circular scenic panel,
showing a pair of ducks swimming in a pond with water lilies
and cattails. Below depicts a golden urn with green leaves
sprouting and rising up above the circular panel. The leaves
are surrounded by circular jewels, which are red, green, blue
and purple, over a light yellow background. A very colorful
and decorative section is displayed above and below this leafy
section.
Condition: Slightly bowed at the bottom, 3 missing pieces in
the top left, 1 cracked panel in the background - just above
the urn. 36"W x 77"H.

HERTER BROS. INLAID AND
INCISED ROSEWOOD QUEEN SIZE BED.
The headboard shows an arched top, scallop carved with spheres
in the center. Below is vine and leaf inlay with large daiseys
and a banded banner. The next section shows gilded rosettes
over 3 beveled panels. The posts have detailed incising with
turned finials on top. The footboard has matching posts and
rosettes near the top, with 3 beveled panels and incising in
between. The rails have a single square panel of floral inlay
in the center and oversized corbels. The backside of each rail
is branded with the name Herter Bros. This bed is in very good
clean original finish and condition. The four large corbels
show some minor flaking near the top edges and one shows light
carving loss. 84"W x 66"H x 64"D.

PANEL PIANO LAMP.
The pyramidal green paneled shade is overlaid with bamboo
leaves and vines. Signed near the fitter with an
impression"Handel". The long curved arm is adjustable, above
the socket, where the shade hangs and also above the oblong
platform base. The shade and piano base are in good original
condition and the base is signed on a felt tag under the base.

JOHN JELIFF WALNUT TRIPLE
BACK SOFA WITH MAIDENS HEADS.
The center back features a mounted maidens head surrounded by
carving with large finials on either side. The two side crests
show maidens heads with draped carvings and fleur de lis
carvings. The arms show figural maidens heads with partial
robes. Incised carvings on the bottom seat rail, which is
curved on either side, over 6 turned legs.
Condition: The left back shows a vertical crack. The fleur de
lis on the right side has been broken and repaired and the
seat rail has been touched up from flaking. One wheel on the 4
casters is missing. Frame is refinished and the upholstery is
good. 79"W x 39"H x 28"D.

TIFFANY FAVRILE GOLD
IRIDESCENT TAZZA COMPOTE W/ METAL BASE.
The top section shows 8 ruffles at the rim, which shows an 8"
crackle finished edge. Below a short bulbous stem reaches a
lower platform, which is folded with gilt metal. Signed on the
base with a Tiffany Favrile paper label. In very good
condition, showing no chips or cracks. 8"W x 4.75"H.

35" SEVRES COBALT & GILT
CHATEAU DE TUILERIES BRONZE URN.
The cobalt lid is decorated in gilt with a floral wreath,
torches, ribbons and berry clustered filigree, topped with a
bronze pinecone finial. Below, the trumpeted rim shows
matching decoration. The mid-section is painted with an oval,
gilt framed scene. The front shows 2 maidens, robes blowing in
the ocean breeze, reclining and surrounded by white doves and
roses with a harp and sheet music on the ground. In the sky is
a single cherub. Signed C. Rochette. On the reverse side is
painted a garden scene with a fountain flowing down a wall. 2
mounted bronze handles are on the sides. The platform shows 2
bronze bands above and below a gilt decorated cobalt section.
Sevres mark under the lid. In very good clean condition. Shows
minor crazing to the scenic sections and some minor rubbing to
very few bordered highpoints of the gilt. 35"H.

MONUMENTAL 9' CARVED
MAHOGANY FIREPLACE MANTLE.
The large crest shows a carved north wind face with swirling
filigree, flowers and fruit. Supporting the crest is two tall
columns, tapered, carved and fluted with scrolled capitols at
the top. The center shows a nice beveled mirror, framed behind
a filigree carved arch. The lower mantle shows a carved cherub
surrounded in swirling filigree. Two carved pilasters, showing
fruit, filigree and scrolled capitols, support the base of the
mantle. In very good, clean and original finish and condition.

BRICK BORDERED TABLE LAMP.
A geometric brick pattern over 7 bent green striated glass
panels at the top. The bottom rim of the shade shows a
geometric circular border over rippled cranberry glass. The
underside of the shade is signed "Handel". A signed Handel
ribbed base with a smooth platform. Has the original 3 socket
spherical cluster with acorn pulls. In very good condition.
Shade 17" diameter x 22"H.

PAIR OF FIGURAL GILT BRONZE
AND MARBLE CANDELABRA.
Features standing gilt bronze figural putti, partially robed
and balancing a basket on their heads. Each basket is mounted
with a finial on top showing a bouquet of fruit and flowers.
The two rope twisted arms, running down from the center
basket, are mounted with a single bobeche on either side. The
putti stands on a white marble platform banded with a filigree
border in the center on 4 leaf molded feet. Signed under the
base "Unis - Paris". In very good clean and original condition
and gilt, rear foot on one piece has been replaced. 6"W x 11"H
x 4"D.

R.J. HORNER 16 PIECE CARVED
OAK DINING SET WITH 9 LEAVES.
Features a 5 leg split pedestal dining table with 2 skirted
leaves and 7 plain leaves, an oversized sideboard with
backsplash, single door bow front china cabinet, server, 12
chairs including 2 armchairs. The 60" round table has a curved
apron with swirling carvings. The octagonal pedestal is split
in the center with carvings on 4 sides and large lions heads
with scrolling bases on the corners. An arched stretcher
splays out from the center pedestal to the 4 legs, which are
large turned and heavily carved columns with scrolled capitols
at the top. In the center of the pedestal is the 5th turned
leg. Stands on 4 carved bun feet.The sideboard has a large
backsplash with swirled carvings on the top molding. It
features a 3 panel back with figural hunters carved on the two
outsides, with carved pilasters on the outside edge and a
large fruit basket in the center panel showing turned and
carved columns on either side. The base features 3 carved
front drawers at the top and 3 larger drawers at the bottom.
The center shows two large carved columns around the two
carved doors with a large drop front door in the center carved
with a fruit basket and lion head pilasters on either side.
This piece stands on large carved bun feet. The china cabinet
shows a carved crest with ornate pilasters and carved columns.
Features one bowed door in the center with glass panels on the
sides and a mirrored back. The corners have turned and carved
columns over figural lion head pilasters and large carved bun
feet. Features hand carved pulls on all of the drawers. The
server has a backsplash with carved panels, turned columns and
pilasters. Features a carved front drawer at the top, over a
large paneled back with column supports which has one drawer
over large bun feet. The 12 chairs are carved on the
crest-rails, back supports and front legs. The armchairs have
long arched arms with lion heads at the ends.
Condition: All 16 pieces are in good original finish and
condition, showing very little wear to the finish from normal
use.

PAVEL AKIMOV OVCHINNIKOV
RUSSIAN ENAMELED SILVER BEAR INKWELL.
A wonderfully crafted piece by the well known silversmith
Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov, Moskow 1868, in 84 zol (875/1000)
silver, this piece shows a large bear resting on its stomach,
with its head on the left arm and rear legs splayed, sitting
on top of polished flat lid. The bear shows great detail and
proportion in the fur and ruby eyes. The lid on which the bear
rests shows a blue enameled border and a beaded silver edge.
Under the lid is a double inkwell, polished and clean and the
signature is also found. Below, the two platforms are
decorated in beaded enamel and stylized floral and geometric
patterns in white and 3 tones of blue. The very bottom
platform is formed from black marble. 11.5"W x 5"H x 4"D.

POTIER & STYMUS EBONIZED
ROUND MARBLE TOP CENTER TABLE.
Shows an inset marble top, inset under a bronze mounted frame.
The apron is decorated with gilt incising, satinwood panels
and bronze mounts. From the apron, the 4 legs curve in to a
lower platform, which also supports a carved, burled and
incised center pedestal. The top section of the legs are
scroll carved draping down the sides and meeting at the front.
Below the lower platform, the legs extend again, curving with
leaf carvings on the top and burled panels on the sides,
ending on hairy paw feet.
Condition: This table is in original condition and has not
been restored. Shows some rubbing to the finish, losses to the
burled sections and brass mounts. 34.5"W x 30"H.

BRONZE ROOSTER. Features a large rooster, wings spread and
long tail raising up, fending off a weasel hiding under a
rock. Laying on the ground is a single stalk of corn with
scattered kernels. This piece shows fine detail in each
feather of the rooster. Has a medium brown patina, in very
good original condition. 19"W x 28.5"H x 15"D.

26" DUFFNER
& KIMBERLY DOUBLE DOME HANGING LEADED LAMP.
26"
Duffner & Kimberly double dome hanging leaded lamp. The top
shade, 26" in diameter, shows a staggered brick border 9 rows
high, from the top of the shade, in nice yellow glass. The
main border shows swirling leaves running into the geometric
brick pattern above and below. Above and below the border
shows a single row of brown rippled glass. The lower shade
shows a smaller form, 14" in diameter with a 4 row brick
border, it hangs inverted and is fitted with a gilt tassel
finial. Shows the original Duffner & Kimberly hardware, fitted
to the upper shade, showing 4 hook around the outer edge of
the heat cap. Moving up each of these hooks is a long smooth
shaft, leaf molded in the middle, connecting the shade to the
ceiling cap. This is a very unusual design by Duffner as there
were only 5 known patterns to this form. Shade 26" diameter.
Height 46" Condition: There is separation to the brick pattern
led work in the upper shade.

LARGE BURLED WALNUT
CYLINDER DOUBLE SIDE BY SIDE SECRETARY.
Features a nice crest over the center, carved with seashells,
flowing filigree and bellflowers. The center section shows
floral and leaf carved moldings around the double door cabinet
with beveled mirrors. The burl paneled cylinder rolls up to
reveal the inner a series of small shelves, two drawers and a
pull out writing surface, over a single large drawer. Unusual
commode base shows 3 drawers next to a single paneled door. On
either side of the center section is a single glass door
bookcase with a stick and ball gallery around the top and a
sloping stick and ball gallery along the back. In good
original finish and condition. Some braces have been added
inside for additional support. 68"W x 85"H x 23"D.

LARGE ELECTRIC BLUE VASE.
Features an electric blue iridescent finish. Trumpeted at the
top, flowing in then back out to the bulbous center and then
tapering down to the base. Signed with a partial paper label
and etched, LC Tiffany Favrile. Glass floral arrangement has
been applied to the interior of the bowl. - 1810. In very good
clean condition, no chips, cracks or notable scratches. 8.5"W
x 15.5"H.
