CARVED MAHOGANY
PEDESTAL WITH APPLIED REPOUSSE SCENE.
Has an 18" top with a leaf carved apron. Four turned
columns are at the corners around a large center column.
In the center of this column is an applied repousse scene.
The base shows a nice carved apron and square feet. 18"W x
35.5"H x 18"D.

LOUIS ICART.
DEFENSE OF THE HOMELAND - DEFENSE DU FOYER. Signed in
the lower right corner Louis Icart and numbered 49/100.
The engraved scene shows a French soldier in the
background and a maiden embracing an infant. The title is
"Defense du Foyer" or "Defense of the Homeland". The plate
mark is 15 ¼" x 21 3/4". Circa 1917. In very good, clean
condition, no losses, folds, seams, scratches or foxing.

RENAISSANCE REVIVAL
CARVED MARBLE TOP HALL TREE.
Features a scrolled shell carved crest at the top. The
mirror is framed in burled panels with 7 turned coat hooks
and applied carvings. Below is a single marble top shelf
with a drawer, supported by turned columns ending at the
base. The sides have curved umbrella arms and original
cast iron trays below. In very good original finish and
condition. 46"W x 90"H x 16"D.

MITCHELL & RAMMELSBERG
CARVED WALNUT MARBLE TOP ETEGERE.
Shows a large triple crest with pierced swirling leaf
carving, topped with an urn finial. Shaped center mirror
with framed mirrors between the two shelves on either
side. The shelves are supported by long turned columns
running from the top and resting on the lower shelf
supports. Mounted to the side of each shelf is a long
turned finial, which sits above and below the height of
the shelf. The white marble top has a serpentine front
over an incised apron. The base shows an open panel back
and a lower platform, which follows the serpentine shape
of the marble. In very good original finish and condition.

CHAMPLEVE DRESSER BOX W/ PLAQUE.
Bronze hinged dresser box has four onyx panels on the
sides and a painted porcelain plaque showing a Victorian
courting scene on the lid. The corners and the lid are
bordered with enameled floral patterns. The interior of
the box is padded. Stands on four small feet. In very good
condition. Some lines in the grain of the onyx. 9"W x 5"H
x 8"D.

CARVED WANUT AND
EBONIZED ROCOCO RECAMIER.
Shows fruit and swirled filigree carvings in the crest and
back with some ebonized highlights. This unusual piece
features two seating positions. The left side shows a
single medallion back with an open arm for a person
sitting upright. The right side is laid back as a recamier,
for a person to lounge. This piece is in very good and
clean condition, restored, with period style upholstery.

PIERCE CARVED ROCOCO
REVIVAL WALNUT EASEL.
The crest features a cherubs face in the center,
surrounded in scrolled carvings with a cartouche above.
The two main supports taper out to the lower frame, which
is carved with flowing scrolled leaf design and claw feet.
The rear leg, hinged at a leaf carved stretcher just below
the crest, is carved at the bottom and has a large carved
seashell in the center surrounded in swirling filigree. In
very good condition, shows 2 minor repairs at the top of
the crest. Has a good red/brown finish. 27"W x 71"H.

INLAID & EBONIZED
RENAISSANCE CENTER TABLE ATTR POTTIER & STYMUS.
Wonderful inlaid table features an inset top decorated
with borders of swirling filigree and leaves surrounding
the center ebonized medallion which shows musical
instruments and sheet music with floral and leaf inlay.
The top sits in a raised burled frame with an ebonized
outer edge. The apron below has a staggered inlay pattern
with gilded bronze lion head mounts above the legs. The
legs show rosewood panels on the front and are incised on
the sides with applied carvings. The center pedestal
continues to the stretcher, tapering out at a trumpeted
incised in the middle. The underside of the center
pedestal shows an oversized drop finial. In very good
original finish and condition. 35"W x 30"H.

Shows the famous portrait of Ruth with brown hair and
brown eyes. She wears a long flowing robe and headdress
and carries a bundle of wheat under her arm. The
background shows a mild sunset sky in orange, gradating to
blue at the top. In a very nice heavily carved and gilt
frame. In very good condition. No scratches or surface
blemishes. 3.75"W x 5.5"H.

CARVED AND BURLED WALNUT FIGURAL BIRD CHAIR WITH ORIGINAL
SCENIC TAPESTRY.
The crest features a carved bird standing on a platform,
surrounded by leaf and berry clustered filigree. The side
back-rails depict long twigs and branches, mounted on top
with a single bird standing on a nest. The seat and back
feature an original scenic tapestry showing large birds
with beaded eyes in the foreground, sitting in trees.
Behind, is a pond with 2 swimming swans and a mountain
scene with houses in the far background. In exceptional
original finish and condition, shows few very minor losses
to the leaf carvings. 28"W x 52"H x 24"D.

CHASSE AU LAPIN. Chasse au Lapin or The Rabbit
Hunt. Features two terriers and another dog gathered
around a fox hole under a rock. The three dogs are very
detailed in their fur and the surrounding grass and rocks
bring realistic depth to the scene. The piece is signed
P.J. Mene and is in very good original condition with a
deep brown patina. 14"W x 8"H x 6"D.

HALL DESK WITH PORCELAIN INSERTS.
The top shows a bronze filigree gallery and brass mounts
on the front and corners. The doors show oval porcelain
plaques framed in filigree bronze, painted with cherubs,
the two drawers below have ornate bronze pulls. The
beveled corners are mounted with figural cherubs at the
top. The base stands on elegant cabriole legs mounted with
bronze on the knees and feet. The single drawer pulls out
to reveal a cloth writing surface with interior
compartment. In very good original finish and condition.

CHERUB CARVED WALNUT OVERSIZED ARMCHAIRS.
The crests show a carved central medallion with a figural
putti on either side, surrounded in fruit and leaf
filigree. The arms feature large open mouth winged
griffins flowing down the legs to claw feet. The seat
rails are incised and the front seat rail has a shell
carving. The figural carvings on these chairs have great
detail. In very good original finish and condition. 30"W x

STERLING ENGRAVED PLATES.
Each shows a nice outer border decorated with filigree.
Within the filigree shows 8 symmetrically placed ovals, 7
of which are decorated with an urn and the 8th, slightly
larger, is left blank. The underside of each plate is
signed Tiffany & Co. Makers, Sterling Silver, 925-1000.
They bear the mark of J.C. Moore. The pattern # is 20198B
(circa 1923). All are in good clean condition with no
monograms. Weighs approximately 5 pounds.

BURLED WALNUT 2 PIECE
MARBLE TOP BEDROOM SET.
The bed features burled panels and scrolled carvings. The
headboard has an oversized crest, dropping into the shaped
center panel with some incising and squared finials on
either side. Below each finial is a turned column with a
leaf carving at the top. The footboard has 3 large panels
and a flat top beveled crest over turned columns and long
corbels. The princess dresser shows a matching oversized
crest, dropping into the large mirror with some incising
and squared finials on either side. Below each finial is a
turned column with a leaf carving at the top. Under the
columns are a single scrolled carving and a shelf,
supported by a single incised corbel. On either side of
the mirror is a burled panel 3 drawer glove box. The white
marble top has scalloped corners and shows some gray
striations. The base has a long burled drawer over a
hidden drawer, behind the dressers lower apron. In very
good condition.
Listed dimensions are outside dimensions of the bed only.
Other dimensions are as follows:

Princess dresser = 93H x 50W x 21D. 81"W x 90"H x 63"D.

OAK FOUNTAIN ELMS ARMCHAIR.
The crest features carvings of assorted flowers, including
roses, combined with grape clusters, leaves and a single
cornucopia in the center. Below, more cornucopia and leaf
carvings with the addition of acorns and oak leaves,
bordered in rope twisted carvings. The shaped arms feature
sprouting leaf carvings where the arm joins the back and
rosette floral carvings where they meet at the knee of the
cabriole legs. The feet of the front legs show scrolled
leaf carvings with metal casters. The front seat rail is
mounted with detailed rose carvings in the center. In very
good condition and finish, shows no tack-holes in the back
or notable losses to carvings. 25"W x 44"H x 26"D.

29" JOHN MORGAN AUTUMN
OAK LEAF AND ACORN LEADED DOME.
Features an irregular lower border showing clusters of
colorful, striated oak leaves and acorns. The base colors
in the border are orange, red and tones of green. Just
above the border is a tapering yellow brick geometric
pattern, 4 rows high, in which the lower border intrudes,
as well as scattered leaves and vertical brown striated
branches, running up to a second "branched" border. The
leaves in this second border also run into the first row
of the tapering 4 row brick pattern at the top of the
shade. The shade is fitted with a 6 curved socket cluster
and heat cap. Shows few minor heat cracks in the brick
borders, 1 "spidered" crack in the very top row. The main
border shows approximately 20 scattered heat cracks
throughout and one section of 5 green leaves which have
been replaced and the bordering pieces repaired. 29"W x
16"H.

MARBLE TOP TABLE.
Features an irregular oval white marble top showing some
gray striations. The top section of the table features 4
shell carvings and carved moldings at the irregular shaped
bottom rim. The center pedestal consists of 4 turned
columns at the corners, surrounding the concave sections
in between. The legs are nicely shaped with spade feet
over original casters. Very good clean original finish
showing no losses or scratches. The marble has no chips,
cracks or repairs. 40"W x 29.5"H x 28"D.

FIGURAL CARVED 1 DRAWER CENTER TABLE.
Features a burled walnut top with an ebonized beveled
edge. The drawer shows carving and a figural bronze plaque
in the center, over turned drop finials on the corners.
The legs show large corbels over figural carved Egyptian
maidens busts with scrolled carvings at the base. The
center stretcher has an oversized urn finial with handles
and carved drapery on an ebonized platform, all surrounded
with carved leaf filigree. The base has ebonized mouldings
and large platform feet on casters. In excellent finish
and condition. No notable chips, scratches, cracks or
repairs. 37"W x 30"H x 33.5"D.

The top of this table is carved with a swirling leaf and
filigree border. The skirt with shell shaped ferns in the
center with a single rose on either side, all surrounded
by various filigree and floral arrangements. Stands on 4
cabriole legs with leaf carvings at the top and scrolled
feet. Very good finish and condition. Shows an age surface
crack on one side, does not interrupt any carvings. 38"W x
30"H x 25"D.

This two-tier stand shows a 3" pierced carved floral
gallery with 6 spindled finials on top. The base is
divided into 3 magazine sections by delicate spindles. The
platform shows a single drawer in the front over 4
spherical feet on casters. In very good original finish
and condition.
Condition: One small repair to the right side of the top
gallery, single age crack length-wise on the top of the
platform. 25"W x 37"H x 18.5"D.
