hand etched maternity
scene below. The engraved
scene shows a French
soldier and a maiden
embraced. The title is
"Farewell". The plate mark
is 10 ¼" x 7". Circa 1918.

PATRIE. Signed in the
lower right corner Louis
Icart and numbered
117/150. The scene shows a
man in the arms of a woman
who is kissing him on the
forehead. The title is "La
Baiser de la Mere Patrie"
or "Kiss of the
Motherland". The plate
mark is 19 ¼" x 11 1/2".
Circa 1917. In very good,
clean condition, no
notable losses, folds,
seams, scratches or
foxing. 12.56"W x 20"H.

ENGLSH BURLED WALNUT
DOUBLE ARCH SLANT FRONT
SECRETARY.
Double door secretary top
with mirrored doors. The
double arched crest-rail
is mounted with turned
gilt finials in the center
and on either side. Behind
the double doors shows an
intricate interior with
various shelves, drawers,
doors and slots. At the
base of the top section,
there are 2 pull out
candle stands. The desk
section of the base drops
forward, revealing a nice
interior with leather
writing surface. In very
good condition. 40"W x
89"H x 21"D.

3 ARM DECORATIVE
CHANDELIER WITH ELEPHANT
MOUNTS.
Shows a twist molded main
shaft over two filigree
mounted bulbous sections,
below shows a thick reeded
shaft running into the
main platform. The main
platform is decoratively
structured with
reticulated applications.
The 3 arms curve down and
back up to the lights at
the end, the upper elbow
of the arms are mounted
with figural elephant
heads and surrounded in
filigree, including grape
clusters. Below the main
section shows a double
teardrop finial with
gascocks, electrified. In
good condition. 24"W x
37"H.

BELTER ROSALIE W/
GRAPES LAMINATED SOFA.
Features 3 carved crests
showing fruit clusters and
leafy filigree.
The center crest with a
single rose at the top,
while the side crests
follow the curve of the
sofa’s back, ending at
large grape clusters
at the bottom. Between the
crests, forming the
crest-rail there are
scrolled designs, which
continue down to the arms.
Small triangular
sections of graduated
scaled carvings are below.
The arms
meet at the knee of the
cabriole legs with a rose
and fruit cluster
and a scrolled leaf at the
foot. The center of the
seat-rail shows
swirling leaf and floral
elements, crowned with a
single rose. In
very good original finish
and condition.
