We
are pleased to be assisted
in the preparation of this
auction and catalogue by
Steven N. Mitchell, Watch &
Clock Consultant. Steve has
painstakingly examined each
clock, removed the dial and
thoroughly checked each item
listed in the catalogue for
condition and authenticity.
Steve is a watchmaker and
clockmaker by trade. He
apprenticed under Daniel J.
Bosworth of Concord New
Hampshire for 6 years and
formed a partnership and
corporation with Mr.
Bosworth Mitchell &
Bosworth Inc. that has been
in operation since 1986.
Steve was owner and
auctioneer of Time & Strike
Auction Co. of Allenstown,
New Hampshire. The firm
specialized in the sale of
antique pocket watches,
wristwatches and clocks for
7 years from 1997 to 2004.
Steve presently practices
antique pocket watch,
wristwatch and clock
restoration out of his shop
in Concord, New Hampshire.
He will be in the gallery on
the preview and auction days
from June 12th thru June
