DRIVEN CLOCK.
Seth Thomas #3 regulator
with brass 8 day time only
weight driven movement with
graham dead beat escapement.
The movement is stamped
maintaining power. The dial
is discolored and has
flaking and cracking and
other slight imperfections.
The pully is original. The
movement has beat adjustment
on the crutch. The hands
were blued and spade at one
time, they now have surface
rust on them. The pendulum
stick is wood painted black.
The bob is brass and
original to the clock and is
nicely damaskeened, good
rating and rating nut. The
case is a rosewood veneer,
there are a number of spots
on the bezzel and the lower
door that the veneer is
chipping. There are four
drops on this clock and they
are all original and intact.
The weight is brass and is
typical. 20"W x 42.5"H x
5.5"D.

face is signed Vauchez,
Paris. This clock is spring
driven and is in very good

The pendulum stick is wood
and painted black, the bob
is brass with very nice
damaskeening and has not
been buffed. The lower door
glass is original and in
nice condition, no chipping
or imperfections. The lower
wood baffle is original and
there was a large label from
Howard with directions on
setting up the clock, only
half of the label is
remaining. The clock has a
number of holes on the back
board for securing to the
wall. The case is in good
original condition. Some
white paint where a wall was
painted around the rear of

This clock has a silvered
platform with a lever
escapement that is running
with a good motion. The
balance and hairspring are
in good condition. The brass
clock movement is dirty and
would benefit from cleaning
and fresh oil. The clock
case has fluted cloumns and
fancy capitals, good beveled
glasses but the back door
has a chip in the lower
right hand corner. The dial
is enameled and is surrouned
by a decorated sliver face
plate. The dial has some
minor paint loss underneath
the LeRoy signiature. The
alarm set dial is enamel.
