Presentation bride's
case that was originally
white. Case has aged
over the years due to
being exposed to
smokers. It has a dark
white color due to
nicotine staining. Lower
presentation bracket has
missing gilt on at least
four of the presentation
balls. Side arms are
good. Hands & dial are
good. Overall a nice,
straight example of a
bride's banjo clock.
Dial does have staining,
but in overall good
condition. Case has #3
and #12 on it. This is a
very rare example.

maintaining power. Wood
stick, brass pendulum
bob, and very nice label
on the inside,
manufactured and sold by
W. L. Gilbert & Co.
Winsted, Connecticut.
The lower glass has some
touchup, flaking, and
imperfections. The case
has been refinished. The
dial is in good
condition and not
signed, some minor
crazing and cracking.
The hands are large open
moon style. The case has
also had two large wall
stabilizers added to the
back. Massive early cast
iron weight running down
the back of the clock.
The clock has two angle
irons that have been
added to the inside to
stabilize the base.
Apparently the weight
has gone through the
bottom at a previous
time. 15.5"W x 32.5"H x
4.5"D.

not original to the

base has two missing
balls on each side with
gesso loss, the base has
come off in the past and
has been re-glued. The
clock has added wood
blocks & repaired glue
blocks. It has a brushed
pendulum bob and brass
side arms. The clock has
a gilt acorn finial and
a typical brass weight
